Baptismal font in which is said to have been baptised Saint Dominic [i.e., Santo Domingo de la Calzada, 1019?-1109], but the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) suggests that it is unlikely as the date of the font is probably in the late 12th or early 13th century; it consists of a roughly hemispherical basin that has lost part of the upper side on which is a band of scrolls and palmettes; the round base has a pattern of foliage all around; the small plinth is quadrangular and plain; the whole font is badly damaged and its carving and outer surfaces badly eroded.
