Baptismal font of the Romanesque period. May have been originally from Santa Marina de Monasterio de Rodilla [source: web site of the Archdiocesis of Burgos at www.archiburgos.org] [cf. Index entry for Monasterio de Rodilla for the present 18th-century (?) font in that church]. The font consists of a roughly-shaped hemispherical basin, plain but for a moulding around the upper rim, raised on a plain cylindrical stem and a circular plinth. The wooden cover is crude, flat and round; appears modern.
