Tub-shaped baptismal font of the Romanesque period; it is barrel-like, almost cylindrical, with marked ribbbed pattern that appears to imitate the staves of a wooden barrel. The font is mounted on a short quadrangular plinth decorated with a thin moulding. This font is somewhat of a similar design to that of the font at Cervatos, in the province of Santander [cf. Index entry], although the latter's ornamentation is more stylised. [NB: the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Guadalajara (2009) does not mention a font in either the Iglesia de San Bartolomé, or the Capilla de San Galindo, in this village]
