Described and illustrated in Le Patrimoine des communes de la Vienne (2002, v. 2: 660) as a the surviving basin of the baptismal font of the old church; it is a rather crude octagonal piece with uneven sides; the inner well is also octagonal but the angles are somewhat rounded; traces of an iron staple are still visible on the upper basin side,, where the stone is damaged, probably for the lock of the old cover.
