Described and illustrated in Le Patrimoine des communes de la Vienne (2002, v.1: 265) as a medieval wall-mounted holy-water stoup; it is square in shape but the basin well is most uncharacteristic, carved like an eight-point star [see also the Index entry for Ingrandes No. 1 for the strange-looking baptismal font in this same church].
