Described and illustrated in the Patrimoine des communes... l'Essonne (2002, v. 2: 877) as a former baptismal font now serving as the base for an altar; the basin is rounded and rather shallow, with the inside well divided into two compartments; the lid is described as wooden and heavy. The base is a cylindrical pedestal with roll mouldings at both ends; the lower base is square. It may well be a composite object [Flohic ref.: 91300409]
