Described and illustrated in the Patrimoine des communes... l'Essonne (2002, v. 2: 699) as an oval mounted baptismal font of the 17th century; the oval basin has a protruding upper rim and ribbed pattern ornamentation on the sides and underbowl; the base is baluster-type, though the volumes are less pronounced than usual, and ornamented with coils, hanging garlands, drapery and foliage motif; the lower base appears square. There is a modern wooden lid hinged at the middle [Flohic ref.: 91230106] [cf. Index entry for Boigneville No. 1 for a composite holy-water stoup in the same church]
