Described and illustrated in the Patrimoine des communes... l'Essonne (2002, v. 1: 235) as an oval mounted baptismal font of the 17th century; the basin has a protruding upper rim and plain sides, but is ornamented with ribbed pattern on the underbowl; plain round (?) pedestal base except for a roll moulding where it meets the square lower base. The whole font is painted imitating oxidated copper, the material of the lid. [Flohic ref.: 91080903]. Listed and illustrated in Palissy [ref.: PM91002032]: "Fonts baptismaux en pierre peinte et couvercle en cuivre [...] H = 30 (vasque) ; h = 38 (pied) [...] 17e siècle [...] Dans la nef de l'église, à gauche de la grande porte".
