Described and illustrated in the Patrimoine des communes... l'Essonne (2002, v. 1: 205) as a hexagonal mounted holy-water stoup of the 16th century; the basin is ornamented with a deeply carved garland all around; below it, two roll mouldings; the pedestal of the base is also hexagonal but ends in a square lower base with ornamentation (ball?) at the angles. The same source reports traces of paint still visible on the base. There is visible damage on at least one of the sides of the basin, towards the top. [Flohic ref.: 91080106]
