Described and illustrated in the Patrimoine des communes... Charente-Maritime (2002, v. 2: 985) as an monolithic octagonal font of the 17th century made of limestone; there are mouklings at top and bottom; one of the sides has a large shield with a coat of arms bearing three hearts and identified in this source as belonging to the Goy family. There is some damage evident on the upper rim, probably from the removal of a metal staple. Plain wooden cover. [Flohic ref.: 17330403]
