Described in Bilbao (1996) as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period ornamented with ribbed pattern inside and out, and two ondulating garlands; the centre ring has rope motif; the base is ornamented with a serpent being attacked/devoured by a lion. Bilbao (ibid.) suggests that, although the two fonts in this village are of different artistic level, they are the work of the same workshop, but not of the same artist [cf. Index entry for Villasandino No. 1].
