Described in Bilbao (1994) as a baptismal font of the Renaissance period, with strong Gothic influence of the Gothic; the large basin is plain; the base is ornamented with torsade columns; the lower base has two large roll mouldings framing the torsade pattern. Bilbao (ibid.) cites an entry in the Catálogo Monumental de la Diócesis de Vitoria. The large basin has a metal brace around the upper side; the font is raised on a two-step circular plinth.
