Described in Palol (1967: 21) as marble receptacle ornamented inside and out with ribbed pattern; Palol suggests that it may have served for the baptism of children, like the one represented on a stone in Aquileia. [A sunken piscina with an inner well of hemispherical shape was also found in this church -- cf. Index entry for Es Fornas... No. 1]
