Described and illustrated in Sancho Campo (2002) as a noteworthy holy-water stoup of the Romanesque period; the foot-less bucket-shaped basin bears three bands of ornamentation on its sides: the upper one has a square pattern all around; the middle one has triangular motifs; the lower one is crenellated. Sancho Campo (ibid.) states that the object was originally in one of the churches submerged in the dams of the north of Palencia province. [NB: the Museo Diocesano has more fonts of the Romanesque period, some of them historiated]
