Described in Bilbao (1994) as a Romaneque baptismal font consisting of a plain basin mounted on a pedestal ornamented with crudely rendered floral motifs. Bilbao (ibid.) cites an entry in the Catálogo Monumental de la Diócesis de Vitoria. The Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) dates it to the 13th century. The font shows now [February 2019] two metal staples at opposite ends of the upper rim, but there is no font cover present.
