Described in Bilbao (1994: 34, 131) as a baptismal font of the late Gothic period; the basin is ornamented with bands of zigzag and triangular motifs. Bilbao (ibid.) cites entries in the Catálogo Monumental de la Diócesis de Vitoria and in López de Guereñu. Baptismal font consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a moulding at the upper rim, a band of deeply-carved triangular pattern below and another band of saw-tooth or zig-zag around the underbowl, raised on a plain cylindrical pedestal base and a square lower base; some damage and repair to the basin upper rim evident. No cover present. There is a wall mounted holy-water stoup in the re-built church that may have belonged to the medieval one it replaced. Outside the village is the rural chapel [ermita] of San Gervasio, re-built in the 1950s and restored in the 20th-21stC.
