Font Notes:
Described in Bilbao (1994: 126) as a medieval baptismal font; the basin is plain; the cylindrical base is ornamented with mouldings. Bilbao (ibid.) cites an entry in the Catálogo Monumental de la Diócesis de Vitoria. Noted in the Enciclopedia del románico [www.romanicodigital.com]: "La pila bautismal, muy sencilla, consta de copa lisa, apoyada en pie cilíndrico con baquetones."
