Described in Bilbao (1994: 122) as a medieval baptismal font, one of the oldest in the diocese of Vitoria. Bilbao (ibid.) cites an entry in Portilla. The Enciclopedia dates some of the older details of the church to the 13th century. [NB: as Bond warns, the crudeness of a work should be taken as an indication of antiquity].
