According to the Parish web site [www.daresburycofe.org.uk] the baptismal font is of the 16th century, and in it was baptised Lewis Carroll [source accessed 21 January 2003]. An octagonal mounted font in this church is illustrated in www.thornber.net but the font looks much too modern, probably Victorian.
