Font Notes:
Described in Bilbao (1994: 112) as a medieval baptismal font: the basin is but for a roll moulding at the upper rim; the base has a concave profile. Bilbao (ibid.) cites an entry in the Catálogo Monumental de la Diócesis de Vitoria. The entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/alava_ATAURI.pdf] [accessed 16 May 2025] does not mention a font in it, which probably means it is of a later date than the 13th-century building. The present font consists of a roughly-hemispherical basin raised on a round-to-square base. It is probably 16th-century or later.
