Described in Bilbao (1994) as a baptismal font of the 15th century, Gothic period, in the Mudéjar style; the round slightly tapering basin is ornamented with a broad band of linked circles of two sizes, the large one with stars in them, all with beaded-tape pattern; above and below this broad band are two narrower bands of concentric circles alternating with geometric motifs resembling stylised foliage; all the carving very neat and regular; raised on a plain short cylindrical stem and a rounded lower base. There are no traces of cover hardware in the upper rim. This font is much like the font at Luco, also in Alava. Bilbao (ibid.) cites entry in the Catálogo Monumental de la Diócesis de Vitoria, in López de Guereñu and in Portilla. Noted in Plazaola Artola (2008?) [NB: we have no information on the font of the ca. 1226 church here].
