Listed in Cox & Harvey (1907) as a baptismal font of the Perpendicular period. Kelly's Directory of Cornwall for 1910 mentions a Perpendicular font in this church. Cox (1912) notes two fonts in this church, this one "I5th cent, of Polyphant stone". Noted in Pevsner (1970) as "octagonal, C15, with shields in quatrefoils." [cf. Index entry for Blisland No. 1 for an earlier font -Norman- also in this church]
