There are two entries for Stoke [Albany] [variant spelling] in the Domesday surbey [https://opendomesday.org/place/SP8087/stoke-albany/] [accessed 2 August 2019] neither of which mentions cleric or church in it. Cox & Harvey (1907) list a baptismal font dated 1681 by an inscription here. Noted in Pevsner & Cherry (1973): "A raw baluster, dated 1681". The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: SP8055188294 ] notes: "Church. Late C13 and early C14, restored C19. [...] Font is a single gadrooned baluster".
