Listed in Cox & Harvey (1907) as a baptismal font of the Norman period. The Victoria County History (Northampton, vol. 4, 1937) notes: "The ground-plan of the church, with the exception of the vestry, is of the 14th century […] The font is ancient and consists of a circular bowl with moulded top on a modern pillared stem." Not mentioned in Pevsner & Cherry (1973).
