A 12th-century baptismal font crudely rendered is reported outside the Romanesque church here in Memoires de l'Académie des sciences, belles-lettres et arts de Clermont-Ferrand, t. 16 (1874), p. 287: "L'église, chapelle de l'ancien château, est romane, du XIIe siècle [...] Une petite cuve baptismale, du XIIe siècle, assez grossièrement sculptée, est devant l église." The font is listed and illustrated in Palissy [ref.: PM63000665]: "fonts baptismaux [...] Cuve tronconique à décor d'arcatures en arkose taillé [...] 12e siècle"; the entry does not give the date when the photograph was taken, but it gives the location as the "presbytère" [i.e., vicarage / rectory] at the time, and the image shows the font in a garden. [NB: we have not been able to corroborate whether the font continues to reside in the same place as shown in the early sources].
