Listed in Cox & Harvey (1907) as a baptismal font of the Decorated period. Harrison (1920) reports a font "early-Dec[orated] same local type as at Willingdon" in this church; Harrison further notes: "The (restored) Saxon tower is of two stages with herring-bone work, and N.E. quoins long-and-short work." [NB: we have no information on the font from the original Saxon (?) church here].
