Described in Cox & Harvey (1907) as a square-bowled baptismal font of the Norman period made of dark Petworth marble from Sussex. The font consists of a plain square block with a round inner well, raised on a broad square central shaft and four round slender colonnettes at the angles; square lower base, also plain. The wooden cover is round and flat, with a metal ring handle; square shaped with chamfered corners; probably Victorian.
