Baptismal font said to be of the 12th century from the parish church here; all that remains is a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with broad ribs all around; the upper end of the ribs is framed by a set of round arch-heads, some of which have a triangular motif in the spandrels. A crude work of rough proportions, probably the work of a local mason. The remains of the roughly hemispherical basin are now [August 2013] displayed in in an area between the church and the town hall.
