Described and illustrated in Palol (1967) as a small cruciform sunken font; it is made of stones and had no drainage [NB: Palol (ibid.) explains that the drainage hole visible in some of the sources was made after the discovery by Mr. Amer, owner of the property in which the church was
discovered and responsible for the excavation]. Entry for this font in the Fons Dr. Pere de Palol, Institut Català d’Arqueologia Clàssica (ICAC) [ref.: 045063] [http://fonspalol.icac.cat/055555-2/] [accessed 20 June 2017]. Noted in Godoy Fernandez (1989) with reference to Puig de Cadafalch and J. Aguiló. The font has steps leading down: two in the longer W arm, one in each of the other three; it is similar to the one at Son Peretó. Noted and illustrated in Khatchatrian (1982). In Utrero Agudo (2006). Vizcaino Sanchez (2007, ed. 2009: 470-472) notes the presence of a baptistery "a los pies", as is common in other early Balearic churches.
