Described and illustrated in García de Paz' web site {URL below] as a baptismal font of the 16th century; it has a hemispherical basin ornamented with a thin roll moulding at the upper rim, and large ribbed pattern ["gallones"] all around the lower sides and underbowl. The base is a short quadrangular pedestal. [NB: this same source informs that José María Azcárate de Ristori, in the 1983 Inventario Artístico de Guadalajara, dated the font and the stoup to the 16th century] -- [cf. Index entry for Tendilla No. 2 for a heraldic holy-water stoup]
