Listed in Cox & Harvey (1907) as a baptismal font of the Norman period. Wade & Wade (1929) report "a font with cable moulding" in this church. Described in Pevsner (1958): "Circular, Norman, with widely spaced vertical ribs on the bowl and a cable-moulding."
