Baptismal font dated to 1550 [source: www.dip-palencia.es/loma/]. The fonts consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with pronounced upper rim, a row of square flowers below and a ribbed patern all around the underbowl; the base is round-to-square, with graded mouldings on the round upper part and a leaf motif on each of the four corners of the square volume below -- illustrated in a 5 February 2017 photograph by Valdivia [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Church_of_La_Asunción,_Bahillo_22.jpg] [accessed 15 May 2025]. The same source [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Church_of_La_Asunción,_Bahillo_14.jpg] [accessed 15 May 2025] illustrated a holy-water stoup in the nave, a hemispherical basin on a round pedestal base and a tiny square plinth; the besin, decorated externally with a pronounced torus-scotia combination, is interesting because its basin well is actually lined with metal, not a common practice in Spanish fonrs and even less so in their stoups.
