Listed in Cox & Harvey (1907) with a baptismal font of the Norman period. [NB: C&H list it in the county of Shropshire; it is now in Worcs., after the county re-drawing in the mid-1970s - the other Orleton, about 15 km West of this one, has a noteworthy figural baptismal font of the same period - cf. Index entry for Orleton St. George's]. Brooks & Pevsner (2007) report that this chapel was re-built in 1816-1817, but was "converted to a house c. 1972" [NB: we have no information on the present whereabouts of the Norman font]
