Church Notes: the present funerary chapel was the original parish church of Cegama in 1488 but an earlier Romanesque building may have existed on the site
Described in Kortadi (2000?) as a holy-water stoup of the Romanesque period in this rural chapel.
The entry in Eusko Ikaskuntza Multimedia fondoa [https://www.eusko-ikaskuntza.eus/eu/dokumentu-fondoa/multimedia-fondoa/mu-77197/#] [accessed 26 November 2024 has it noted and partially illustrated as a baptimsla font: "PILA BAUTISMAL ROMÁNICA DE LA ERMITA DE SAN BARTOLOMÉ DE ANDUEZA DE LA LOCALIDAD DE ZEGAMA."
