Wilson's Gazetteer of 1870-1872 reports an Early English church in Teddington. Listed in Cox & Harvey (1907) as a baptismal font of the Norman period. The entry for Hartlebury in the Victoria County History (Worcester, vol. 3, 1913) notes: "Titton, another hamlet, and part of the episcopal manor of Hartlebury in the 16th century, was then called 'Titton, Tiddington or Teddington.'" but mentions no font in it. The entry for Teddington (Worcester) in the National Gazetteer of 1868 notes: "The church, dedicated to St. Nicholas, is an ancient structure with a tower and two bells."
