Described in Glynne (1877): "The font is Third Pointed, has an octagonal bowl panelled with quatrefoils containing roses; the stem octagonal also." Listed in Cox & Harvey (1907) as a baptismal font of the Perpendicular period. Described in Iggleston (1925) with 15th-century date. Noted in Newman (1976): "Font. Perp[endicular]. Octagonal, the sides of the stem and bowl sligthly hollowed. Roses and shields alternately in quatrefoils."
