Font Notes:
There is an entry for Westerham [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://opendomesday.org/place/TQ4454/westerham/] [accessed 5 April 2017], but it mentions neither cleric nor church in it. Glynne (1877) writes: "The font is octagonal, ornamented with quatrefoils, and has a panelled pedestal." Listed in Cox & Harvey (1907) as a baptismal font of the Perpendicular period. Noted in Newman (1980): "Font. Standard Perp[endicular]. Octagonal. Quatrefoils on the bowl."
