Listed in Cox & Harvey (1907) as a baptismal font of the Decorated period. Noted in Newman (1976): "Font. Octagonal. Shallow sunk patterns on the faces, fanciful quatrefoils and panelling." Noted in Igglesden (1925): "The font is a fine specimen of 14th century masonry, octagonal in shape and supported by a stem of similar form. The eight panels contain tracery of different patterns."
