Described and illustrated by Rodríguez Montañés in Soria románica (2001) as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period decorated with ribbed pattern or arches on the lower part of the basin. García Gómez (2007) notes that the font at Calatañazor served as the model for the fonts at Nafría la Llana, La Barbolla, La Cuenca, Torreblanco, etc, all in Soria province.
