Sotomayor (1963) notes and illustrates a gigantic holy-water stoup, round and detached, inside, near the entrance; the object cosists of a large roughly hemispherical basin with a common torus-scotia-torus decoration around the upper basin side; it is raised on a short round-to-square pedestal base. Described in the Puebla state web site [www.puebla.gob.mx/cultura/museos/mreligioso.html] as a baptismal font of grey stone with a large basin {over 1.5 m in diameter).
