Described as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period in the web site of the Diputación Provincial de Lugo [www.diputacionlugo.org/ayuntamientos/panton]. Font noted and illustrated in the entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/LUGO_Deade.pdf] [accessed 13 May 2025] as a having Romanesque lineage ["pila bautismal que por características podría corresponder a pautas de progenie románica"], although it is obviously a later work more in the keeping with the 16th-century date of the church itself.
