Described by Huerta Huerta (2001) as as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period ornamented with a blind arcade of intersecting arches, a common ornamental motif in fonts of this area. Noted in García Gómez (2007) as a Romanesque baptismal font decorated with arches on columns with large capitals. Described and illustrated in the entry for this village in the Enciclopedia del románico [www.romanicodigital.com] as a baptismal font retained from the medieval church here: "La pila bautismal responde al mismo tipo que las de El Espino y Ágreda (Nuestra Señora de los Milagros y Nuestra Señora de la Peña). Consta de un doble basamento circular de sillería sobre el que se dispone una copa cilíndrica (124 cm de diámetro × 75 cm de altura) decorada en la parte superior con un friso de arcos de medio punto sobre pilastras y bajo ellos otros de mayores dimensiones entrecruzados."
