Described by Huerta Huerta in Soria románica (2001: 72) as as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period ornamented with a blind arcade of intersecting arches, a common ornamental motif in fonts of this area. Listed and illustrated in the entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/soria_AYLLONCILLO.pdf] [accessed 12 May 2025] notes: "A los pies de la nave se conserva una pila bautismal románica –inédita hasta la fecha– de forma trococónica (110 × 77 cm), dispuesta sobre un doble basamento circular. La única decoración que presenta se reduce a un bocel en el borde superior y a una sucesión de arcos de medio punto entrecruzados, tema que se repite en otras pilas del entorno (Narros, Canos, Cortos, Torrearévalo, Ventosa de la Sierra, Matute de la Sierra, etc.). Repite, por tanto, un tipo que podemos fechar hacia los años finales del siglo XII o principios del XIII."
