Described by Huerta Huerta in Soria románica (2001) as as a baptismal font of a common type in this area; he cites one at Calatañazor, one at the Burgo de Osma cathedral cloister and another in Blacos, as well as the holy-water stoup at Nódalo. [cf. Index entry for Burgo de Osma No. 2 and the other names cited]. Noted in García Gómez (2007) as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period, one of several decorated with an arcade below a vine populated; some (Matanza de Soria, Vadillo and Zayuelas de Soria), are rather crude; others, like Cantalucia and Torreblacos, have flatter but more sophisticated carvings.
