Listed in the revised Hutchins (1973 c1861-1874) as Early English. Listed in Cox & Harvey (1907) as a baptismal font of the Early English period in "Fifehide Neville" [NB: the current name of the village is Fifehead Neville]. Listed in Long (1923) as a baptismal font of the Early English period. The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: ST7679911001] notes: "Parish Church, south wall C14, north aisle and arcade c 1500, remodelling and south porch 1736, roofs and restoration 1873 [...] C14 octagonal font on greensand base."
