Harrison (1920) reports a baptismal font of the Perpendicular period, and a holy-water stoup at the west entranceway, in this originally-Norman church restored in 1877-1878. Described in Whiteman (1994) as "a large octagonal font with carved panels" from the 15th century. The present font, which may have undergone some re-tooling, is located at the west end of the nave; it consists of an octagonal basin decorated with an arcade of trefoiled arches, two per side, raised on an octagonal stem decorated with similar arches, but only one per side, and a moulded splaying lower base, also octagonal. [NB: we have no information on the font from the original Norman church here].
