Harrison (1920) does not mention a font in his entry for this originally-Norman church. Described in Whiteman (1994): "The 14th-century font is square with sloping sides, similar in style to that at nearby Whatlington". The square basin is plain, cut to octagonal by the chamfered angles; it is raised on a broad central shaft and four slender angle colonnettes [all five modern replacements?] that have foliated capitals and moulded bases on a square lower base and a quadrangular plinth. The wooden cover is of octagonal pyramidal shape, decorated on the lower sides and the arrises, topped by a complex finial with handle-like motifs on two sides; said to be 17th-century.
