Harrison (1920), who notes traces of Norman-period work in the north wall of the nave, reports a font of 1620 in this church. Described in Whiteman (1994): "The plain octagonal font of Sussex marble, a stone quarried at Kirkford until the 19th century, is inscribed with the date 1620 and the initials of two churchwardens". [NB: we have no information on the font from the Norman church here].
