Font Notes:
Described and illustrated in Hein (1966: 33 and fig. 29) as a cylindrical mounted baptismal font of the Horder workshop; the basin is typical of this workshop with a rope moulding all around the upper rim and a band of acanthus vine on the basin side; below it, a very thin double roll moulding motif is followed down by another acanthus vine around the lower side and underbowl. The base of this font is not one of the typical ones found in other Horder fonts, although it does use the rope moulding motif around the neck and the upper part of the square base.
