Described and illustrated in Hein (1966: 25 and fig. 25) as a granit baptismal font of the Romanesque period and attributed to Horder's workshop. The basin is rougly cylindrical with a rounded underbowl; the upper rim is ornamented with rope motif; the basin side is ornamented with a large acanthus vine; the underbowl is ornamented with another such vine. A rope motif ornaments the base, which is round at the top and then becomes square; the sides of the base are ornamented with incised lines parallel to the ground. The two parts of the font are granite, the top described as reddish in colour, the lower block as having a grey hue.
